What do you do with fruit peel after eating the fruit? We throw it away; right? But did you know that skin solutions and fruits go hand in hand. Blemishes, tanning, premature ageing, you name it, and you have a solution either in the form of the fruit itself or its peel. Fruit peels are a great source of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Combine them with a few more ingredients from your kitchen and you are good to go. Easy, cheap, natural and the cherry to the cake, no risk of side effects. Before you throw those fruit skins here are a few fruit peel packs, exceptionally good for your skin.
#1 Orange Fruit Peel
Oranges are great sources of vitamin C . The orange peel is so rich in antioxidants that it adds amazing benefits to the skin. Orange peel can be used to cleanse the face, in the form of a scrub. Regular use of it gives you a deeply cleansed bright face. Orange peels can also be used for skin lightening , treating acne and blemishes and reducing dark spots, pigmentation. Orange peels are great for both oily and acne prone skin. It makes the skin smooth and supple.
Orange Peel Scrub
Orange peel are best used in powder form. All you need to do is let it dry under the sun and grind it. Keep this in an airtight container, it will be fine for months. You can add to this masoor dal power, 2 teaspoon curd, and scrub your face with this for a clean and clear face.

Wash the tomato well. Take a slice of the tomato skin and rub it all over you face and neck. Let it rest well for about 10 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean micro-towel. Or you can add honey or jojoba oil and tea tree oil to the tomato skin to treat blemishes and acne respectively. Repeat the process for a few days to get the best result.
