Outlander is a television fantasy drama series based on the historical time travel ‘Outlander series’ of novels by Diana Gabaldon. The story follows Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) who visits Scotland along with her husband, Frank. One fine day she goes for a walk alone when she is suddenly transported back in time. And there she meets Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) who is a clear definition of a ‘Scottish Hunk’ and also her evil ancestor, Jonathan Randall. So in order to stay alive she ends up marrying Jamie and that’s when everything gets really heated up. In this series we see a young boy, Aang reawakens to undertake a dangerous mystic quest. And he does so to fulfill his destiny as the Avatar and to bring peace to the world that consists of four elemental-focused nations. The story is set in an Asian-influenced world where martial arts and elemental manipulation are the main components. This series has been a commercial success and acclaimed by both audiences and critics who praised its art direction, humor and the characters. We also see a mysterious girl named Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) with psychokinetic abilities and a limited vocabulary. In the story, we see the boy’s mother and his friends confront terrifying forces in order to get him back. Overall the earnestness of the actors and a well written story line will keep you engaged watching this series.

The Good Place is an American fantasy comedy television series created by Michael Schur. This series stars Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell), a young woman who dies and wake up in the afterlife. She is then introduced by Michael (Ted Danson) to ‘The Good Place’, a heaven like utopia he designed, in reward for her righteous life. But she realizes that she has been sent here mistakenly. And she must hide her imperfect behaviour and try to become a better person. This basically results is an endlessly unraveling comedy of errors and ethics.
